Withdrawing from a crypto casino is the deposit route in reverse: casino → exchange → CAD → Interac e-Transfer. The first withdrawal takes longest because of verification; after that it is routine.
Step 1 — Request the withdrawal at the casino
Go to Wallet → Withdraw, choose the coin and network, paste your exchange deposit address, enter the amount. Points to check:
- Minimum withdrawal — typically CA$10–30 equivalent, higher for BTC.
- Fee — most of our brands charge no fee beyond the network cost; BTC withdrawals may carry a flat fee.
- Active bonus — withdrawing forfeits an uncleared bonus and its winnings; your deposit is returned. Clear or forfeit deliberately.
- 2FA — enable it; withdrawals without 2FA are often held for review.
Processing: automatic and near-instant for most coins at Rainbet, Stake, Shuffle, Roobet, Gamdom, Duel and Thrill; BC.Game and Coins.Game occasionally hold a first withdrawal for a manual check.
Step 2 — Receive at the exchange
Use the deposit address from your Canadian exchange (Newton, Kraken, Shakepay, Bitbuy, Wealthsimple) for the same coin on the same network. LTC and SOL credit within minutes; TRC-20 USDT within a minute; BTC after one to three confirmations (10–30 minutes).
Step 3 — Sell for CAD
Market-sell to CAD. Spreads: Kraken ~0.3%, Newton ~0.7%, Shakepay ~1.5%. On a CA$1,000 withdrawal that is CA$3–15.
Step 4 — Interac e-Transfer to your bank
All of the exchanges above pay out by e-Transfer. Shakepay and Newton are typically within an hour; Kraken same day; Bitbuy up to one business day. Daily limits range from CA$10,000 to CA$50,000; larger amounts go by wire.
KYC: when the casino asks for ID
Every brand will eventually require identity verification — usually at a cumulative withdrawal threshold (CA$2,000–5,000 equivalent is common) or on a risk flag. Have ready: a government photo ID (passport or driver's licence), a proof of address under 3 months old (utility bill, bank statement), and sometimes a selfie. Verification takes minutes to a day. Doing it before a big win avoids the frustrating hold. Our KYC guide has the details per brand.
Fees end to end
| Step | Typical cost |
|---|---|
| Casino withdrawal | CA$0 – CA$2 (network) |
| Exchange deposit | Free |
| Sell to CAD | 0.3% – 1.5% |
| e-Transfer out | Free |
Total: well under 2% on most routes, and close to 0.5% via Kraken.
Delays and how to avoid them
- Wrong network — the single most common cause of lost or delayed funds. USDT-TRC20 to an ERC-20 address will not arrive.
- Unverified exchange account — complete exchange KYC before you need it.
- Bank holds on e-Transfer — rare, but a first large transfer from an exchange can be reviewed by your bank for a day.
- Casino review — triggered by large first withdrawals, bonus-related play patterns, or missing 2FA. Respond to support promptly; have documents ready.
Keeping records
Save the casino withdrawal confirmation (with transaction hash) and the exchange sale record. The sale is a crypto disposal for tax purposes; the gambling result is not taxable for recreational players — see our tax guide.
